Als ich von deinem Unfall gehört hatte, schaute ich mit meiner Verlobten gerade die Saison Highlights der 2000er Formel-1-Saison. Dieses Wahnsinnsduell mit Mika Häkkinen war einfach eine Legende. Auch, wenn ich Mika lieber mochte, so hab ich mich gefreut, wenn du statt seiner gewinnen konntest. Du warst und bist einer größten Legenden Formel-1.
Wir wünschen Dir und Deiner Familie einfach Alles Gute auf der Welt und drücken die Daumen, dass diese bange Zeit des Komas beendet ist und Du wieder am Leben teilnimmst und dass dieser Unfall keine Spätfolgen hat. Michael, you are my hero. I have followed you since you started in F1 and as soon as I saw you race I said you would be a World Champion. I have never seen anyone drive a racing car with such a passion. You are an inspiration to myself and I know you will never stop fighting, you have the heart of a lion. I have always collected memorabilia to do with your career and am lucky enough to have the painting after you won your seventh championship it is my pride and joy and I look at it everyday and remember those fantastic races you drove.
I myself am not in the best of health, I have a degenerative lung disorder and Clinical Depression and many a time watching you race and listening to your interviews has made me feel so much better. I cannot express my extreme sadness when I heard about your accident. You retired from F1 to enjoy your life with your family and do all those things you have not had time to do and then out of the blue it is taken from you.

I have myself spent the past year recovering from a serious ski accident. It is a long road and not easy for the victim or the family but please know that you are not alone, I and so many others are pulling for you all and sending you our strength and thinking of you every day.
I’ve grown up watching Michael and he has taught me that there are no excuses for not always trying my best. This is the strength that I needed in my recovery and that you will need to draw upon now. I have always hoped that I would get to meet Michael one day and if I do I hope it will be in happier times.

Well, it was the darkest day of this sport maybe. I was only a child, I could watch Formula 1 from a new broadcast which was really expensive for these terms (1990s) of Turkey. Then I saw Ayrton’s Williams at Tamburello, there was no action, no one could do nothing to save him. Maybe it wasn’t too dangerous, maybe it was a huge disaster, we couldn’t understand at first sight. Yes, he passed away, and then you continued to create new legends. Every spectator witnessed to your battles on the track against to your rivals for championships. Also you were giving your everything you have. After 2 years succession, you went to Scuderia Ferrari, and then you started to take big improvements in Maranello. I know, I have Italian friends too. Each of them says that you’re a hero for “The City of Ferrari”. By the 2000s, you had 5 championships with so many hard records to be passed. After this succession, the era of Renault began, and Fernando took two titles. I don’t want to talk about your second career in this sport, you wanted something, that was your passion as you said. Of course you had to come back in this reality. Then, you said “Goodbye” at the end of 2012. You have 7 titles, you have great memories, great life, great family… I was really shocked as only your Tifosi, when I heard about your accident. I know, you’re so strong to achieve this, we will absolutely see you again. After these terrible days, you will read these wishes and I think there will be a “Schumi Smile” on your face. Finally, I’m really proud of watching you and your passion, and I really feel that it will be nice to say “welcome back”.

Seni her halinle çok seviyorum. Yarışmayı bırakmanı hiç istemedim. 2006 da monzada sen gözyaşları dökerken ben daha fazlasını döktüm. Maalesef aynı acıları 2012 brezilyada yeniden yaşadık. Keşke Mercedesde 2 sezon daha yarışsaydın ve başına bu kaza gelmeseydi. Bu kaderin bir cilvesi belkide. Halen yarışıyor olsan antremanlara katılmak zorunda kalırdın ve bu kaza gerçekleşmezdi. Kim bilir ki? Bu Tanrının adaleti sonuçta. Sen büyük bir savaşçısın ve hep kazanmak için mücadele ediyorsun. En çok örnek aldığım yanın bu zaten. Böyle bir kaza sıradan bir insanın başına gelse belki çok daha kötü sonuçlar olabilirdi. Ama sen ihtiyacın olan irade ve fizikiözelliklere zaten sahipsin. Bu savaştan eskisinden daha güçlü çıkacağına inancım tam. Senin için dua ediyorum. Allah seni sevdiklerine ve ailene bağışlasın. Bu iş çok uzadı. Uyan artık Schumi ve yüzümüzü güldür.

Öncelikle kaza yaptığın günden beri iyileşmen için hergün dua ettiğimi ve iyileşmeni çok istediğimi bilmeni istiyorum. F1’i bir çok insan gibi sen sevdirdin bana ve Mercedesle son yarışına çıkana kadar desteklemeye devam ettim seni. İlk olarak yanlış hatırlamıyorsam 2000 yılında izlemiştim seni ve o sezon ile gelecek 4 sezonda şampiyon olmuştun.
Seni ilk gördüğüm yer ise Fiat Palio Sport tanıtımı için geldiğin Çırağan Sarayıydı. O gün senden imza almak için çok uğraşmıştım fakat alamamıştım. Bundan dolayı ağladığımı görenlerin ilginç tepkiler vermesine sebep olmuştum. Sonrasında hep Türkiyede yapılacak bir Gpde 1. olmanı hayal ettim fakat Türkiyedeki yarışlarda 1. olamasanda Kürsüye çıktığından Pistteki kalabalığın en önünde izlemiştim seni.
Türkiye saatiyle Saat 5 te yarış izlemek için uyandığımda ailemin tepkisini çeksemde seni izlemek büyük bir zevkti. Şampiyon olduğun senelerdeki hiç bir yarışını kaçırmadım ve sen her yarış kazandığında büyük bir sevinç yaşadım. 2000-2001-2002 yılları arasında her yarış için çıkan haberleri gazetelerden kesip sakladığım bir arşivim var ve genelde hep senin fotoğrafların var içerisinde. 94-95-2000 yıllarında şampiyonluk yaşadığın araçların posterleri ve sana ait bir sürü şey var elimde ve onları sonsuza dek saklayacağim.
Şidmilerde F1 izlemeye devam ediyorum fakat hiç bir pilot senin kadar etkilemiyor beni. Yani boş gözlerle ve hep bir eksik varmış gibi izliyorum yarışları.
Her zorlu savaştan galip gelmeyi bildiğin gibi Azraille girdiğin bu zorlu savaştanda galip çıkacağın konusunda hiç şüphem yok. Azrail senden hızlı değil ve zaten acele etmenede gerek yok. Zamanı geldiğinde gözlerini açıp iyileşip biz fanlarını selamlayacağın günü büyük bir umutla beklediğimizi bilmeni istiyorum..

People do not choose their real favourites – it just happens. For me, it happened 21 years ago when I was just 3 years old. I remember sitting with my father watching the you race in the 1993 season. Somehow, it just seemed right to support you. So I did and it is something I have continued to do to this day. I cannot explain what it was or how it came into being but I recall spending numerous weekends screaming for you, making up songs of support for you, waiting for your podium jump and watching you orchestrate the italian anthem for Ferrari. While I have always loved and admired you since your days at Benetton and Ferrari, it was your second career at Mercedes that truly pulled on my heartstrings. I have followed you in many aspects of your life apart from f1 such as in road safety, soccer, reigning, skydiving, your efforts during the earthquake in Costa Rica, your donations during the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 etc. The truth is I have learnt so much from you about hard work and effort, attitude, spirit – you are the role model for my life. I love the fact that you are such a multifaceted person with so many varied interests. I love the way you are 100% committed to what you do. I love the way you have such a good attitude even when losing. I love the fact that you are always willing to learn new things and I love that you have such a big and generous heart.
Since your accident I feel as if a little part of me has been lost and I am devastated. I continue to pray every day that you will make a full and complete recovery and I hope to meet you one day soon. I have so many things I would like to ask you. I believe that God will continue to bless and protect you because you deserve it. Thank you so much for what you have given me for all these years. You have taught me how to live and for that I have no words….

I want to thank you for the opportunity you gave my son Ryan and I to bond over the years – when he was about 3, he became obsessed with Formula One, and very soon it was obvious that his attention was focused on the fast, skillful driver in the red helmet driving the red car. He drew me in with his enthusiasm as he watched this genius racer, and for nearly 20 years we have now shared this great sport. He even used to go to bed listening to his CD of Ferrari F1 engine noises, and asked for a CD of national anthems for Christmas so he could act out his pretend podiums – the sound of the German national anthem became a familiar tune in our house! He got the chance to meet you at Magny Cours in 2005 – what an honour for him, and a great feeling for me, seeing him meet his hero.
Coincidentally, we were both flying into Grenoble for a ski trip when we heard that an hour before, you had been air-lifted in. Suddenly, our minds were filled with thoughts of you as a human, family man as well as an outstanding racing driver. We now join with countless others sending you best wishes for a miraculous recovery, and our heartfelt prayers for you and your family.

I would hold my breath every race and pray he brought the car home safely, which of course he did in a classic style every time. It is true that Michael likes adventure but how cruel such a tragic accident has caused this. But let’s not forget this is Schumi. Loved by us all around the world. So many great and often nail biting memories of watching all your F1 races from the start, arguing with my husband who was a massive Damon Hill fan, made race days exciting in our house at the time! The year was 2003, the race was the Italian Grand Prix at Monza (my favourute F1 circuit) now not being a massive fan i sat down and watched F1 fir the first time with my Grandad, an avid fan of Formula 1 for years. from that day onward i was hooked. the winner of that Race? Michael Schumacher. my Grandad grew up watching the sport and told me how much he loved Damon Hill, Niki Lauda and Ayton Senna. he said to me and ill always remember it, Michael Schumacher is the greatest driver in this century, noone will surpass this for you. to this day, noone has come close.
when i first heard the news of the crash, i cried my eyes out. someone i respected for years in a tragic incident, it was like one of my family members in that situation. ive prayed and will continue to pray for you Michael. 91 races wins? its time for one more!

When I was little, my father used to watch f1, and the only thing I remember of that is your name (and a swore from my father when somebody overtook you). I can tell you much about that, and our passion, but I don’t think it’s needed. You probably know how many people love you, and how many want you to be out of this coma. Part of the reason F1 is what it is today is because of the attention to detail and dedication you applied to it, as well as your part in helping the safety side especially after the 1994 tragedies.

I have watched every f1 race, seen every Silverstone in person….collected tyre shards from Michael’s car in Monaco in 2005, seem ROC twice in a London…..& loved watching Michael drive whatever car ( or buggy!) he was in.

As a F1 follower for the past 45 years, I have seen some great drivers come and go, but Michael’s record speaks for itself, and he is the most successful driver ever by some margin, achieved by a combination of focus, determination, natural ability and fitness, It’s so ironic that an accident like this should occur whilst enjoying some leisure time, but it does make you think about the twists and turns of life and that no one is immune from this type of event.
No one can begin to imagine what the family are going through at the moment, it must be so tough for all who know him well, but I join everyone else in sending my best wishes, and hopes of Michael’s speedy recovery, and my prayers that we will once again see the great man up and about, living his life to the full.
At the end, there is nothing else we can do but keep faith, hope and stay positive. Schumi said a couple of years ago: “Your ups and downs in sports, I think they are as normal as daily life: One day you wake up and feel great, the next day you wake up and feel maybe less great.” This is just a down, but there will be an up. Once again, Michael Schumacher will do what everybody thinks is impossible. This isn’t the finish line. So get well soon and see you later Champion!

Never did I think I would have to sit here fighting the tears trying to string two words together to beg you to “Get well soon” , “Please wake up” and “Please don’t leave us”. But here I am asking those very same things. Since your accident the world has become still and silent yet although at the same time louder than ever. I heard the heavenly pleas, the devastating cries and the shattering of our hearts worldwide when we realized the occurrence and magnitude of your injury. But through it all we never lost faith and we never will Schumi because we believe in YOU.
Everyday begins with a thought for you and every night ends with the same. We tolerate the UNKNOWN and fight the fear because we know that you are nestled safely in the arms of your loved ones and that no matter what happens – that’s exactly where you would always choose to be.

Like every little tenth can make the difference lets hope all these messages help the Schumacher family to keep pushing on. Michael polarised opinion when he was racing but nobody could doubt his ability to keep delivering. Now everyone is supporting and willing for another recovery charge! If anyone could astound the doctors it would be Schumacher. Normal or typical expectations need to re-evaluated when taking on Michael. Even with the most pessimistic prognosis, I would still not bet against a remarkable comeback.

I have followed and supported you for all of your racing career. You are my all-time F1 hero and an absolute inspiration as a racing driver and as a man. It was a pure joy and privilege to watch you race over the years and witness your many magnificent drives particularly in the rain.
The greatest thing personally for me about your return to F1 for Mercedes was that my little boy (then aged 4) got to see you race and you became his first sporting hero. He used to draw so many pictures of you racing in his weekly school journal that one day his teacher left a little comment saying ‘my favourite driver is Jenson Button’!
Away from all the endless F1 records that you set, you have touched so many lives by your compassion and philanthropy. I remember when you took to the race-track and won the San Marino Grand Prix in 2003, hours after learning your mother had died. Three years later, I lost my Mum and I honestly did not know how I would find the strength to do an eulogy at her funeral but I took huge inspiration from your immense courage that day in Imola and managed to read my eulogy.
Fans all around the world are praying and hoping that you pull through and make a full recovery. I was profoundly shocked when I heard the news of your accident and I pray for you every day that you will return to your devoted and wonderful family. May the Lord watch over Corinna and your children and send them strength and courage to deal with the long road ahead.

Michael I am sending out all my love, positivity and hope for you to get better. I have been a fan since 97 and watching you race has given me joy and inspiration. I have admired your persistence, determination to never give up, your sheer talent, your charity work and your love and dedication to your family.
I saw you race twice at Silverstone in 2004 and 2012. The first time I saw you go past me on the track in the Ferrari on practice day in 2004 has remained in my memory as a special moment. I wish most strongly for your recovery.

I moved to Zurich, discovered Formula 1, noticed a dashing German driver who had just gotten married and by 1996 we were both expecting daughters. We went on to have our sons in 1999 and I’ve kept my eye on you and your family all along!
I had the joy of seeing and meeting you in Montreal in 1999 and watching you again at Indy in 2006. I got up at 3:30 in the morning to cheer you on every season and knew that when you retired this time, you’d remain involved in the sport and we’d still have the pleasure of your brilliant mind and contributions.
All of your fans know that if anyone can beat the hand you’ve been dealt, it is you. We have complete confidence in your strength, determination, and will to live for your family. That is what makes witnessing your struggle so agonizing for all of us along the edges of your life.
God speed in this journey and battle, Michael. You and your family can take comfort in knowing that there are souls in every corner of the Earth pulling for you and sending you our most sincere wishes for strength and peace. My prayers are for a full recovery, because we still need you!

Michael you were the reason I followed Fi for so many years. The sport lost the greatest driver ever when you retired and it was with immense joy I watched your return. Michael we all need you to make another great comeback. Please, wake up the man you always were. We know you have the heart of a lion, we need you to show the strength of a lion now and open your eyes. The world has shown you just how much you are loved, they might have only just realised what we your greatest fans knew all along, no matter, they know now. I have an extra special message for your dear wife and children and family, I don’t know where you’re getting your strength to endure this from but I only hope it continues to fuel you to get through this horrendous ordeal. You have all shown great courage and strength beyond what anyone could ever imagine. You are all in my thoughts and I hope this ends soon for you with Michael waking up the man he was, simply the greatest of all time xxxxx

Started watching F1 back in 98 because of Michael….there is nobody like him – driver or personality in the sport. Despite the media reports and lack of any real info from Sabine Kehm I keep my fingers and toes crossed that he can still pull through this and it’s just going to take time however long that maybe for him to pull through. Keep fighting Schumi…you have a whole lotta living left to do!!!!!!

I just wish you could now see and hear how much people hold you in such i regard, even those who you thought never would, those who booed you now cheer for you, those who scorned your every move now admit you were one of the greatest. Its just a shame it takes somthing like this. But this is life. However the love and wishes from everyone to you and your family is immense, its truly unbelievable.
I used to watch every other weekend hoping for anything other than a red scarlet Ferrari to win, you were that good you were truly a pain in the a*se! However sometimes, and as you get a little older and wiser, you just hold your hands up and admit true talent and sporting brilliance, this for me was something i realised or should i say admitted a number of years ago. Your skill and dedication to your sport and your work and as whole was on another level to the rest. When you came back i secretly wanted you to win again, to show them how good Michael Schumacher was. However looking back the fact that you could still compete at the highist level was a testament in itself, and i truly believe if anyone can come through this, Michael Schumacher can. This is a race i dont wasnt you to lose. I wish you and your family all the very best.

You’re the only person whose posters covered my walls, no brad pitts, no keanu reeves, but you. I can’t remember how many times I cried because you win and because you finished 2nd, too! And it still hurts, the sadness I felt the day you explained you were leaving F1 and Ferrari. Yeah, I remember I cried a lot because I was not gonna see you and feel the passion with you. And when you came back, it was me buying one of the best tickets for Turkey GP to watch “you” live, no matter if you win or not. It didn’t matter. We loved the passion and stubbornness you have, we stayed at home on saturdays most willingly just to see you make the best ever lap time, passing your closest rival with just a few miliseconds! You are a legend, an F1 legend, but beyond that, you became the inspiration for our lives. You showed us soo many times that nothing is unbeatable. And now, Schumi, this place you have been staying for two months, just does not fit you! It is not for you to be unresponsive to a rival! One of the greatest things while you were racing is the miracle you make by passing whoever in front of you one by one, no matter at what place you were, never ever giving up! You know how to do this much more better than anyone else in this world. I hope you feel this Schumi. Sending all my love. Stay with passion.
